Wondershare DPG Converter is a DPG video file converter. DPG is the format used by the portable gaming device Nintendo DS. Said platform was not designed to playback video easily, so they chose the most unusual format they could find. Thanks to converters like this, any type of video can be ported to those consoles. DPG Converter looks exactly the same as the other Wondershare converters. That is quite a good thing. It has an interface worthy of appraisal. There is a video player on the right-hand side of the window that allows you to preview your files before conversion. The most notable feature this app has is the built-in video editor, which has an array of features. You can edit your video's look by increasing or decreasing brightness, contrast, etc. But you can also use more advanced filters to cut and trim your video, and even flip it vertically and horizontally. You can also add watermarks and subtitles to the video. There is really not much to say about the formats that this application works with. It can use the most popular video formats as input and it will only output DPG formats 1 through 4. DPG 4 is the most advanced one and only newer firmware revisions will be able to play it. Wondershare DPG Converter can also be used to convert video files to MP3 so they can be listened to on the Nintendo DS. |
